Once a quarter, our pastoral staff meets off site to spend time reading scripture, praying and reviewing our goals for the year.  This last Tuesday, we had our quarterly meeting. We usually begin with Tim having us read an entire book from the bible.  Each of us then goes off by ourselves and reads/meditates on that selected scripture.  After an hour or so, we get back together and discuss how the scripture impacted us.  It’s always the highlight of the day! Jenny has blessed us with several special songs this last year (“I Stand Amazed”, “Alleluia“). Read more →

January 10, 2011

Christmas Eve is always a special time to gather. Great services. Thanks to Patty Thompson who did such a great job leading the vocal ensemble.  Thanks also to Jordan Swartzendruber (acoustic bass) and Becky Hovan (flute) who accompanied us as we sang. Also, thanks to Tim Blaum and his tech crew who served this evening!
